yes, as high achievers many of us set impossibly high standards for ourselves, among many many other factors, and for many girls that can translate to an eating disorder. I don't doubt what many of these people claim. i used to have a fairly bad one in middle school- that's all over now- but the fact that CC is so slim, i'll reiterate, does not surprise me at all.

This thread IS unhealthy; you can tell that it stems from the morbid fascination/dread and toxic competitiveness that an anorexic might indulge in, so to speak...and it's gotten this long by virtue of that impulse.

We're fortunate that CC has a smattering of healthy, well-adjusted individuals to counterbalance it; without them we'd be a forum of freaks :D

(by the way, that comment a while back, "no, you're the one in red" just didn't ring right...)

K, I don't believe that half of these girls are under 100 lbs. Come on! Unless you are 11 years old before you develop boobs, hips, or thighs, there is no way you can be 80 pounds and like 5'4".
anyway, I'm 5'4" and 123 lbs. I wear a size 0-3 in pants. I'm a gymnast, so that might explain some things.

5'10'', 130lbs. Not doing the math for the average lol.

Twinkletoes I know many girls that are "80 pounds and like 5'4''". Bone density, metabolism, genetics, they are all factors.

I don't see much point of girls lying here, so I doubt they do. I mean, do you think they came here to impress a bunch of guys with their beauty, no, you do that on some creepy chat room.

Um, yeah, girls lie everywhere, but Im not sure if these girls are... They might just be crazy. Maybe they've got some thing with being skinny and smart... as for me, I think girls should be a little curvy at least. And I think more guys check me out than some little stick-girl. :)
haha.

laughs, i know i know, it's all in the spirit! but in relation to some of these folks....;) i'm actually fairly content. i do believe the things going on here ARE quite ridiculous...i mean, you read my little spiel earlier on about the motivating forces behind this thread i'm sure....

@IcicleRose88: I assume guys should list their own heights too, correct? Maybe they should give the absolute value of their largest acceptable height discrepancy, marked with + and/or - for "taller" or "shorter".
