In a year, I've gone from 204 lbs to 152 lbs, losing 52 lbs (more than the weight of my five-year-old sister). Seeing the other thread prompted me to post this. Sorry...

It's not been an easy road, trying to balance life, school, and exercise, but boy, has it paid off. Am still trying to lose more, having set a goal of 135 lbs. At peak weight, I had been firmly in the category of obese, according the BMI calculator.

I don't think I'll want to drop any weight this fall, there are not many candidates in 275 weight class so I'll probably be 225-230 (about 240 now) :)
For example, last year I dropped from 240 to 206 in two monthes without much pressure and then gained my normal weight of 212 for wrestling weight class of 215.

PS. One of the funniest part in wrestling was seeing guys who barely had any fat (114-115) eating salads to drop pounds to match weight class :)

congrats. that reminds me, i need to start excercising again. all those frappichinos i fear are gonna give me a heart attack. and i only weigh like 130.

Sweet one man, funny enough I actually keep in shape or rather my cardio workout by doing DDR 3/4 days/wk and then doing ab and weights workout the others. But yeah DDR is seriously so effective, helped me lose 20 lbs. last year so good luck losing the rest.

The best thing about DDR is its relative transportability. I certainly can't take a treadmill with me to college, and I have an aversion to gyms. DDR is compact enough to carry with me and allows for easy storage... Plus it has proven more effective than any exercise equipment I've tried, LOL.
