I am officially normal weight!

Sorry. XP But I had to! I'm overjoyed.

In a year, I've gone from 204 lbs to 152 lbs, losing 52 lbs (more than the weight of my five-year-old sister). Seeing the other thread prompted me to post this. Sorry...

It's not been an easy road, trying to balance life, school, and exercise, but boy, has it paid off. Am still trying to lose more, having set a goal of 135 lbs. At peak weight, I had been firmly in the category of obese, according the BMI calculator.

'Gratz dude, thats crazy! I haven't gone out to play in 3 years... ^_^

Good luck man.

Congrats:) I'm underweight >.< ~110 at 5 feet 2.5-3 inches.

Strange... pugfug90, the BMI thing on the website has you at normal, albeit a low normal.

Congrats! (= I've lost 50 pounds myself in a year (around Sept. 7th). I'm now "normal" too. ;P I definately know the feeling you have.

If I can avoid the "freshman 15" in college next year I'll be even more thrilled. :P

Good for you, PrescitedEntity! *thumbs up and a big grin --> :D *

I'm pretty normal myself, though a bony normal. :p (I think that's just my body type, though. Some people are squishy, I'm bony.)

I don't think I'll want to drop any weight this fall, there are not many candidates in 275 weight class so I'll probably be 225-230 (about 240 now) :)
For example, last year I dropped from 240 to 206 in two monthes without much pressure and then gained my normal weight of 212 for wrestling weight class of 215.

PS. One of the funniest part in wrestling was seeing guys who barely had any fat (114-115) eating salads to drop pounds to match weight class :)

Sweet, going outside is very fun. I do it often. Schoolwork is a cinch of any degree. High School is here, it might be different.

congrats. that reminds me, i need to start excercising again. all those frappichinos i fear are gonna give me a heart attack. and i only weigh like 130.

I already have heart attacks. :)

Perhaps a case of minor angina pectoris.

Congratulations dude! Out of curiosity, what did you do ? Run on the treadmil for 2 hours everyday :) ?

jai6638, would you believe me if I said my regimen was basically DDR for an hour?

hahahahhahahhah. Now if I was only good at DDR ..!

Before DDR, I ran/walked four to five miles a day, but that was actually less effective than DDR, which I acquired in April.

Pathetic little ol' me can't even get past heavy on most songs... Can only do challenge on three.

sweet. keep up the healthy lifestyle.

Sweet one man, funny enough I actually keep in shape or rather my cardio workout by doing DDR 3/4 days/wk and then doing ab and weights workout the others. But yeah DDR is seriously so effective, helped me lose 20 lbs. last year so good luck losing the rest.

The best thing about DDR is its relative transportability. I certainly can't take a treadmill with me to college, and I have an aversion to gyms. DDR is compact enough to carry with me and allows for easy storage... Plus it has proven more effective than any exercise equipment I've tried, LOL.

thats great! i have lotsa admiration for that

i will be normal weight in a few weeks. I hope. Just a few weeks of food-deprivation and I'll be back to my normal weight.

You're growing don't deprive yourself from healthy food. Run! :)
