The Berkeley Thread!

That's awesome, Alansda. Tomorrow better bring that sort of news.

Wow if I saw that page when I open up my admissions window tomorrow I would almost be positive that was an rejection letter. Most the other ones have a big congratulations at the top.

Berkeley tomorrow
Bye college confidential
Move on with my life

Nice Haiku. I was thanking how often I would check college confidential after my transfer experience was over. I was wondering if I was going to move on to bigger and better things like the UCLA and Berkeley threads.

Grad-school forum.

parents forum

JK!!!!!!!

Those CC-mom posters bug me, assuming they are making all the decisions for their kids in terms of the college admission process.

Bad.

indeed

thats seriously lame

Yea seriously its only about a year after we transfer many of us have to look at grad school. I guess I will be on the grad school boards.

yeah, every once in a while, i pop into the parents forum just to see what they write about...... agreed: BAD and/or LAME.

On a side note:

Man, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I get totally creeped out by the CC moms, especially the ones who defend to the death why the school their "d" or "s" goes to is the best one evar!

i repeat lame, the parents failed so they must live through their kids.

CC-moms= fail

lol

Lol, I love the use of 'S' and 'D'; I mean, really, is it that hard to type out a few more letters -especially with Son (two ****ing letters).

my 'P' goes to school with me.

I like the parents. They shows interest in their kids' college experience.
My parents care they just don't know much about the admissions progress to even begin to try to offer comfort. They think I'll get in on my charity and charisma. Aww, unconditional love. :) & now I feel like hanging out with them hehe.

On a completely unrelated note, anyone here play D&D? I want to DM a campaign starting this fall.

hmm every parent ofcourse hopes the best for their children
but unlike u guys my parents have absolutely no confidence in me
sad but true...
they couldn't even believe i got into a CCC
lol

getting into UCB would probably be more surprising than the world ending tomorrow for them

sigh... i envy u guys and those parents who have so much faith and confidence in their children.
unlike most of u... my fight is fought alone =/

On another unrelated note.

Do you guys just type out , *, *, etc., and let the filters catch it, or do you actually type out ''?

As CC students our maturity level usually 0verpwns those of our counterpart H.S. - UNI leapers. They might not be as ready to take on the challenge of being on their own, hence why their parents still feel the need to pack their diapers for them. We feel they're spoiled since a lot of us in CC don't get that type of treatment...but hey whatever.

hey who is going to check myberkeley tonight right at midnight, just in case?

don't lie...
