We just went through our admissions season with DD. Kudos to all our kids, and for those that didn’t get the results they wanted, hang in there! It’s just a beginning, always.
But here’s to the moms and dads now for all the sacrifices they made, and songs that honor them.

I was quite young when John Lennon was assassinated in December 1980, so this song went right by me back then.
But this is a wonderful song to John and Yoko’s son Sean who was very young when John died.
“I can hardly wait”…it’s beautiful, poignant, and wonderful, both in retrospect and in absolute terms:
