The Changing Face of Women's Colleges

vicariousparent - I realize this is rather late, but I will post anyway.
If you could, take your daughter to college tours. Wellesley is near Boston, so you could visit Boston as well as many colleges there.

I was like your daughter; I didn’t like the idea of Women’s colleges. But when we were doing college tours in MA, we had some time to kill, so my mom convinced to take a self tour of Wellesley.
And it completely changed my mind. The campus was so beautiful. The students were nice. I just fell in love with it. When I came home, I did research and fell in love more! Eventually I applied ED and will be attending Wellesley this fall.

As for the diversity, well you got Boston. And Smith has five-college consortium.
If after the tour, she still doesn’t like it, then it isn’t her college.
