The College--->Business?

It's all in good fun.

would you say that ug business is much better for going straight into the real world and that a graduate from the college would be at a disadv. until they went into grad shcool?

No. I know plenty of folks who graduated with a degree in Economics who are on Wall Street. The degree doesn't matter much. It's the individual and their personality/work ethic that matters. With all of my professional work experience, I could major in English and end up all Wall Street and do just fine.

I mean, the major can make a difference in some aspects, but it's really up to the type of person you are to get those interviews and do well in them. I even know several people with BFA degrees who work for IB's. So, there's really no magic formula to landing that good job and succeeding.
