<p>hey guys, </p>

<p>I'm already way into my essay for ED, but i thought it'd be helpful (for me and other people too) to know anyway. </p>

<p>What exactly does columbia in specific look for in the essay? I say "in specific" because i know that all colleges say the same thing more or less to answer that question, but there's gotta be something more specific when it comes to Columbia. I guess a simpler way to put this is: what makes a good COLUMBIA essay? </p>

<p>Ok. No offense or anything, but they aren't looking for anything specific. They want to get to know who you are. Describe yourself and your passions in a creative and humble way. Once you do that, you have successfully completed the essay.</p>
