The level of dumb on CC has increased tremendously.

I don’t think I made the cut off for the PSAT. My gut has been right 3/3 times I took a collegeboard test.

Looks like I’ll be contributing to the dumbing down of CC:

I hate not having a social life or a BF.

^lolno, not really you/your type of poster

It just feels a lot more hostile and posters seem a lot more arrogant. I don’t really care for “whiny” posters because I’m mostly likely on the same boat as them.

I only got a 2360 but I wanted a 2400. I also made a dumb mistake on the PSAT so that’s probably gonna be a 236 as well.

@jubilee: See, my hope is that this thread will condense the ‘whiny’-ness, so that you won’t have to see it elsewhere.

@PP: I’d rather send you my con case, because I wrote it (pro was written by my partner).

I WANT TO RELAX ON THE WEEKENDS.

Today, I just found out my history teacher plans to fail me specifically just so he can keep his record of never giving out an A-plus.

@studiousmaximus Is it the Urban Debate League?

Complaint #1: Missed 2300 by 10 freaking points because of a level 1 math mistake that I read incorrectly! Like seriously, I got the first grid-in question wrong on the math section, and that question is usually level 1 or 2. I know that there’s no difference between a 2290 and a 2300 but I’d love to see a “23” as the first two digits of my SAT instead of a “22” for once!

Complaint #2: My school has massive grade deflation and is also very competitive. Seriously, only 2-3 people got As in my AP English class but at the same time, only 2-3 people got anything less than a 5 on the AP test. Same goes with my other classes, except to a slightly lesser degree.

@Plague: Nope.

@PP: Okay, I’ll send you my con case later today. We beat a team from Thomas Jefferson with it, so it’s pretty solid.

@NAK: Getting a 2290 is a nightmare for many a CC’er. Especially because of a level 1 math question! Are you going to retake?

Yeesh! And I was happy with my 2250 SAT!

But then again, you guys might be applying for Harvard and all that. Psh, my GPA sucks so I’m not exactly bothering to apply to those schools!

NerdyAsianKid: What state do you live in? My area of NJ is notorious for grade INFLATION, but my school’s the exception, with the motto of Grade Deflation or Die.

I have a cold. :c sniff sniff cough sniff drip

Yesterday at my Academic Decathlon meet they lost my Super Quiz answer sheet and it cost me 1st place of the meet D:

^Wow, that’s awful.

I got a 1980 on the SAT and CC makes me feel dumb for it!!

i got a 29 twice on the ACT and the cutoff for larger scholarships is 30. but i don’t want to take it again. ugh.

I go to school with idiots. It’s so bad that last year we had a man come in and explain the difference between “your” and “you’re” before the ACT. People still got the wrong. -_____- I’m the only one in my computer class who can read cursive, and there are people in my spanish class who can’t read an analog clock.

My WHAP homework has been taking me forever. It’s 6:02, I’m not even halfway finished, and I haven’t even started on my other homework yet… I really shouldn’t have procrastinated throughout the week…

Oh, and I have 2 mosquito bites.

My XC season won’t ever end. Last week JV practice ended, but wait! Top 20 get to go run in a Varsity preliminary the following week! I figured an extra week wasn’t that bad, but turns out I was the 15th fastest runner so I get to practice two more weeks and go to the championship meet (which only top 10 run in )

I wanna play soccer :(
