I disagree flippy. The difference in prestige and quality of education between the two schools is slight.

I am applying to Princeton ED and agree with sparticus. I chose Princeton Early because I like the smaller class size and location but Cornell is an amazing school as well. Unfortunately Grk, and a lot of posters on CC, are ignorant and unnecessarily protective of schools they are not even a part of.(yet at least)

People should wait until they are accepted before they start being so arrogant, considering the fact that 9/10 of them aren't getting in to their beloved Princeton. What a shame ;).

"i don't keep comments to myself because this is a board, i live in america, and i am protected by the first amendment."
The first ammendment only protects a citizen's freedom of speech from the government. Just as you can be taken to court for threatening to kill someone you can also be banned from this board for being an idiotic poster. Until you understand the constitution, please stop citing it. Additionally, just because you figured out how to use the internet, doesn't mean you should share every half-baked thought that pops into your head. I'll conclude with this piece of advice: you really need to take some male enhancement pills or something, I think they'll help with that attitude of yours.

ice cold!

why do i feel friendly toward matt630 and wish him luck on getting into princeton (who we destroyed in hockey last night ;):p) and really dislike Grk and find him immature...can anybody tell me? It's one thing to defend or promote your school, but it's another thing to go make uninformed and arrogant generalizations on another schools board.

pugachev: inflammatory but very funny and well said.

hahaha ... whoa ... i come back to CC after only a few days and full blown arguments already?!? ... :) hahhhaa ...

Ahhh, I keep imagining my application in a pile with a bunch of others from kids that are...um...basically perfect and their applications are raping mine that is wedged in between them. If that made any sense, then welcome to my distraught, anxious mind!

11 more days

10 days, 13 hrs, etc.

new plan:
if i get into cornell, i am buying a luridly expensive, long, faux fur coat to celebrate my moving to a place where there is snow.

Eww, fashion faux paux, jk!

9 days, 13 hrs, etc etc.

ahh..stop reminding us

This week is nothing. Wait until Monday/Tuesday of next week comes along! By Wednesday I think I'll start to have heart palpatations.

Oh gosh, forget it... I'll be completely distracted all of Wednesday and Thursday, and checking online between periods on Thursday in hopes of them posting decisions a few hours early.

But then, who knows, maybe we'll all be freaking out on Friday because our decisions are as early as they were last year?

I honestly don't think I will be able to check my decisions before coming to here first and psyching myself up. I don't want to check on Thursday randomly just to find a rejection letter. :( I want to at least know what to expect so all of you better come on here and post results first to save me the agony especially if they come out a week early. Everyone else is jumping every minute to check the results, but I'll wait to make sure so I dont get blindsighted.

has it ever happened that they said they would give out their decisions then they post them 3-4 days earlier. or has cornell always been pretty good to sticking with their estimated time?

as long as we pass this week...everything will become.....( u say the word)

As long as I pass this week...everything will become.....Hell

Can you guess the decision I'm expecting? Oh boy. It's so close... it feels so real now.

as long as i can pass this week... everything will become... as nice as christmas or as bad as that messed up consumer holiday that comes in the middle of rainy season

8 days, 11 hours, etc etc.
