The creator of facebook

he went to Exeter... haha

(it's on wiki)

then to harvard

Is facebook safer than myspace? Is it a problem when Prep. Schools/Colleges search for your myspace/facebook. I don't have either, but I wondering.

our head of school once said, consider the stuff that you put on facebook the stuff that you would show your mom...then you would know what you can put and what you cant

That advice applies to most everything. That's the line in the sand suggested for the "is it hazing?" question. In some ways it's a more useful standard than "What would Jesus do?" because it applies to choices well beyond moral and ethical ones.

Then again, not all moms are cut from the same cloth. It sort of depends on your mom. (Not your mom, 'cats, but generically speaking...there are moms and then there are moms.)

not sure but doesnt facebook/myspace/whatever have some sort of privacy setting policy?

Yes but it's easy to get past myspace's privacy setting. It's an easy security loophole.

Facebook can be superrr dangerous
but also safe, depending how you set up your stuff.

This only exemplifies Exeter's awesomeness. Do I need to post my equation again? ;) Facebook could become a fairly large (population-wise) country - approximately 17 million people.

Exeter's awesomeness? Zuckerburg couldn't do it alone, my friend. Allow me to point out that the co-founder of Facebook (Chris Hughes) went to Andover.

you guys are so funny in your rivalry.

facebook is obviously way safer, in my opinion.
of course, myspace you can change your profile to being private, but for some reason myspace to me, it just seems like everyone pours on their fake lives on there, and also, it's easier for random people to find you [regardless whether it's private or not]

but facebook, only people in your networks can see you, and for me that's like only my friends seeing me. and it's hard for random strangers to find your profile, and i just like it better.
