The Dare!!!

to Rabo: good idea about increasing the price- i'll have to look into that. as far as the punishments- who really knows? my school is pretty lax by comparison and my parents are used to me doing stupid stuff...the punishment is not really the part I'm worried about.

Just make sure the water isn't cold.

the school might react more harshly than you expect (espcially cuz whole school saw, they have to set an example), suspension or whatnot. not good for colleges

Honestly, I think that just about any school in the U.S. is going to seriously crack down on this. Haven't you ever seen "high-school stories" on MTV? Some people even got college acceptances taken away.

I doubt that these are truly your friends. Sorry to be skeptical. There was this kid at my school who was really nerdy and the popular guys would always get him to do random stuff that would make him look like a jackass. They only laughed at him, not with him.

I don't recommend doing this, but what the hey, it would be pretty funny as a bystander.

lol, i watched high schools stories on mtv too (shame shame i know) and seriously thought that the majority of the highschools were a lot harsher than they should have been so i'd be careful. some of the consequences weren't really that bad like not getting to walk at graduation, but other schools actually had the students arrested. One of the pranks that got some guys thrown in jail was streaking through a game. personally, i think it'd be hilarious, but how bout wearing a speedo or something under the tighty whities so disgruntled parents won't bombard you with complaints of soiling their children's innocence (ha!). Good luck

i say go for it. you HAVE to put theme music on though and do a little cheesy dance...it's no fun otherwise

OKay, the best that could happen is you give other people something to talk about, and in a year someone else will top it, worse case, suspension- which has HUGE consequences for a college bound guy- lots of explanation letters, etc, shrinkage, and parents being mad....why risk so much to give other people some chuckles....man, the jokes would be all at your expense.....but if you are THAT BORED, nothing will stop you from doing something stooooopud, I guess....and why do it alone, if you are that set, at least one of the guys egging you one should join you if you insist on being an idiot....

After rereading your oringinal post- I say if you want to get suspended and possibly blow a chance at college (I do not exagerate- lets see- this guy had water thrown on him while almost flashing his entire school - and probably causing damage (electrical, floor, others clothing) this guy has everything equal in regards to stats etc, but hasnt done anything- which toi choose) - the school will suspend you, will make you an example, and gee, at least when most kids pull pranks, they can deny it was them unless someone rats, you on the otherhand, would give them no chose but to suspend you, and remember, a suspension means the tests you miss A ZERO, homework or projects to be turned in ZEROs, there goes GPA, and final grades.....all so your "friends" can get a laugh at you, yep,,,,,

you forgot that he also gets $250!

So not worth it, what an idjet for even considering it,,,,no offense, but he is ;-)

i dont think a college would to rescind admission for a stupid prank from a teenage boy

OK, I said my speel, and you can take my advice or not.

In front of 2000 people...a big old assembly....why take the chance....and the consequenses of a suspension on grades, letters regarding the suspension are just not worth it....and water damage could happen....a prank is something small, this is in front of so many people, the punishment will be harsh, count on it....

Last year, a group of four of the top ten kids in the class streaked through the lunch room and were suspended for the rest of the year(only two weeks), not allowed to walk at graduation(parents p*ssed), and two had their full scholarships taken away because of a criminal offense(disturbing the peace or some such).

.... it would be funny as hell but think through the consequences.

....how strict is your school? If you wear flipflops to school at my school you get a three day suspension. Showing skin between shirt and pants= two day inschool suspension. Late to class three times=three day inschool suspension. It's pretty dumb the stuff they get us for but with the right connections, you can always get out of it.

Good luck!

^ your school is ridiculous

anovice, your school is.....wow.

if that applied to my school 80% of the studen body would be suspended for all of the year.

Maybe, but thems the rules....so if mr dare wants to risk his future to please some other boys, who strangely want to see him in his underwear all wet in front of 2000 people, well then, take the chance....to even consider it is ludicrous....jeesh....

If you're asking this on a messageboard, you're not quite as cool as you want the student body to think.

And my advice is not to do it. I would be really creeped out to see a kid in his whitey tighties getting hosed down anywhere, but especially at school. Think of something cooler and then wait til Senior Week.

It sounds to me like you're hesitant. It's probably not the greatest idea and I'm pretty sure you know this.

woah--how can colleges take your acceptance away from you?? how on earth would they know that you got into trouble?? would this considered like a crime or something? lalala
