The Duke Stereotype?

Nothing at all, man, party on?

right on man. Heat 125 - Suns 115. Can anyone else smell championship?

I felt this thread needed to be brought back to light: incollege provides a great insight. read the thread fully. here are my two cents.

Upon reading that princeton review stereotype, i too felt a bit of doubt. Despite desiring a school with a lot of spirit (mine had NONE), I didn't want to give up an intellectually stimulating environment. And nor did I have to.

I think what makes Duke unique is the diversity you find here....there ARE jocks, there ARE preps, there ARE artists, there ARE geniuses, there ARE people who never stop studying, there ARE people who never study. The difference is, they coexist and they're all Duke students. While we all (myself included) want to boil every university down to one sentence, it's just not possible. All I can say is, visit the university, get a sense of this place. While we may not be a bastion of pseudo-intellectualism (pretentiously spouting off drivel for the sake of sounding intelligent), I think we provide one of the most balanced educations. We are like the real world, an amalgam of stereotypes. The only difference is, we made the cut with our applications.

and we have gorgeous weather.....80 degrees and clear blue skies, anyone?
