<p>Honestly, what i'm having to go through right now is a pretty messed up process, what are my children going to have to do to get into colleges? By that time there probably won't be any "top tier or second tier" schools that have higher than 50% acceptance rates i mean honestly what brought on this massive change in higher education. Was it really the recession, because if things continue at the current rate forget my kids in 25 years, the kids in 5-10 years are screwed.</p>
<p>It’s the perfect storm of cut throat marketing plus a modest increase in demand from domestic students plus a huge increase in demand from foreign candidates. The storm doesn’t appear to be letting up anytime soon.</p>
