I hope things do go well... I have too many competitive friends at UCLA

Eh, at the end of the day, I'm content with my slightly better academics, and they're content with their slightly better quality of life (mostly food and eye candy-Berkeley is still better).

We best win.

We've been really inconsistent this year and have struggled against some pretty crappy teams, but UCLA was about 30 seconds away from loosing to Washington last week, a team that is probably the worst in the pac-10 (except for stanfurd), so its really anybody's guess. If Ayoob can figure out a way to throw for more the 5 yards at a time I'll feel pretty good, but he is so hot and cold that I really have no confidence in him. If UCLA wins then it means we're going to loose to Oregon and USC too, so I think this will really make or break us for the year.

We've decided that Ayoob's weakness is Memorial Stadium. When he plays at home he's mysteriously mediocre, but when he's away, he turns into a pretty good quarterback. So, we'll be fine for the UCLA game next week, but God help us when USC rolls into town.

what bs :(

Eh, C'est la vie. At least we have the better school.

Oh yeah and they know it, what game is next week? Oregon?

I think so.

The only scenario we have left to hope for:

we win out, including Oregon (convincingly) and USC @ Memorial Stadium.

UCLA loses to USC in the last week of the season.

We hope that we get lucky in the Harris Poll crapshoot.

Pretty slim chances, yeah. But don't count 'em out yet.

Yeah, my glass is half full.

nice try berkeley but in the end the score is what counts.
