The Ghetto?

My son does get the crime alerts at his USC e-mail address.

I am new to the area so I did not chime in again. Although to be more clear, I went to a suburban 'nice area' school, yet there were murders, rapes, beatings. It happens everywhere. Since I have moved in to SC, I have loved it. You guys ever seen Temple? Now that is a ghetto. Makes south central look like newport beach.

I have a new thing to add:

A friend of mine and I bought new bikes today. We couldn't get reservations on the Target shuttle, so we took the Metro bus. We decided to take a detour to Hollywood, just to check it out. We ended up buying the bikes at another Target store located at La Brea Ave and Santa Monica Blvd. We rode the bikes all the way back to USC, which took us 3 hours. Most of the areas we biked through....well more like all of them are old, dirty, people peddling on the streets. But they're not so bad at all. They're not ghettos where one step in and BANG! you're dead. I enjoyed the experience today...although I'm so tired now that I don't think I'll go to Jamie Kennedy tonight!
