Hi everyone! I’m applying to Duke early decision, and I was wondering if I should apply to Trinity or Pratt? I am interested in doing biomedical engineering, but I’m am also ok with doing biochemistry. What are my shots?
Here are my scores:
ACT - 34
SAT - 1510
did NOT take the subject tests
AP scores - all 5’s except physics 1
If you didn’t take the subject tests, then be sure to submit your ACT over the SAT. Duke wants the subject tests if you submit the SAT, however, they don’t really care that much if you submit the ACT. Plus, a 34 is better than a 1510 regardless. I think you have a good shot, though.

OP should understand that stuff like Math and Science subscores are going to be very very important for Pratt. Otherwise, in order to meet the ED deadline, OP will either need to submit the ACT or sign up quick for the 11/3 subject tests. Would recommend the former.
