I can’t think of a good example.
i throught up one ealier, but now I forgot what it was,
you agree it’s hard?

If by hard you mean hard to justify the effort to get into the program, sure

what Jon said..

Hello, person I don't know whom apparently I'm on a first name basis with :P

what's the essay prompt?

oh the suspense...JON...:P.

DUHn

DUHn

DUHNNNNNNNNnnnnnnnnnnnnn

I personally think it's the easiest one of all...

prompt: Discuss a current international issue wich demonstrates how international affairs and business intersect.

am I suppose to involve myself into the essay? or else it sounds purely technicall, something out of a news article.

It's actually incredibly easy in my opinion since it offers an applicant so much versatility yet it keeps the focus limited.

It is pretty hard...lucky for me I've got almost a year to think about it! lol :) No, but seriously, there are some options (in the news)...I think they want you to be both objective and subjective...Involve yourself and be factual! lol :) They don't make it easy do they! haha

hard to involve myself into it.
but thanks for all the helps :)

Welcome! Maybe you could just slide in an opinion here and there so it doesn't look like you want to be a journalism major! lol! I don't think you could do much more than that unless you've started a multinational company or something! haha :)

one danger of opinion is that the adcom might totally disagree with ur opinion, esp. if it is political.
is Penn liberal or conservative?

No idea...but as long as you justify your position and don't push it like a political agenda, surely it should be fine? (maybe Penn's liberal, it is a liberal arts college after all! lol :P - sorry, couldn't resist! :))

Say for instance you think the war in Iraq is brilliant - you could say that you think its necessary to fight terrorism and get rid of dictators for reasons abc...you don't have to say that you think everything about it is wonderful, but maybe just showing a bit of thought on whatever you write about will convince them you are a critically-thinking person! :) (And yes, i know the war in Iraq is a random example, but it's controversial, so I thought it was appropraite to use for your point on what would happen if there was a difference in opinion! :))
Good luck!
