The Indian Thread (TiT) # 17

Where'd iluvia suddenly appear from?

Physics
Chemistry
Math
Computer Sc
English

The regular Indian science student

I'm the boredest of them all! You know what? I didn't know that U2 was around in the 80s.

Yeah, we're chatting alright!

Still refuse to tell us your nationality? ;)

Gahhh. I feel like a left-out Humanities-er who doesn't belong in India.

runs away to iluvia's neighbouring-India country

U2 has been around since forever! They're not one of my favourite bands, but they'll do if there's absolutely no other music around.

I've been listening to old George Michael songs all day long :D

i've still got 2 weeks to board preaching. only 1 more year of school left. I've been here since I was 4. Leaving school is going to be difficult for me :(

Hey, i really admire and respect Humanities-ers. I was split 50-50 between Science and Humanities, but then decided to go with Science because I can pick up Humanities again in college if I need to, but it would be difficult to do it the other way around.

@cheese (:D): I feel exactly the same way!

I've been here since I was 3, but I'm ambivalent about leaving school. I'll miss it of course, but I'm kind of over it at the same time.

My mom loves George Michael.

Oh and thanks tetris. :D

I listen to Bryan Adams,Coldplay,Westlife,Enrique

As difficult as it's gonna be for me to leave school, I can't help but feel excited (even now) at the prospect of going thousands of kilometres away for college. Finally, real independence!

I'm doing the commerce stream.Commerce,Econ,Accounts,English,Hindi,Environmental Education.

I'm usually not all that much into classics. Like I said, I'm an indie/alternative fan. But it's a refreshing change to dive into a different genre and time period of music every now and then :).

See? EVERYONE's either science or commerce in India. I'm the lone to-be-penniless-college-professor type.

ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION!

I love the environment and am an environmental activist, but I just can not see how it benefits anyone to learn this subject from a text book.

Gosh I used to be so obsessed with Enrique, along with the same friend who used to serenade people. Doesn't he kind of sound like he's endlessly masturba****?

I'm actually interested in doing Environmental Engineering. Its a course for the future:)

Ahhhhhhh EVE...don't get me started on that.

(There's a facebook group for ranting about that!)

EVE is pretty boring coz every chapter says the same thing(that the world is ending due to increasing population). I'm all for saving the environment, but i think that we would be doing the world a lot more good if trees were not cut down to make books that teach common sense ;).
