Hmmmm Canadian costs turned out to be much lower than I thought initially. In fact they are much lesser than the standard 30-35K for US univs-

well we all know about the famous Jagdish Gandhi and his children
@gary–>i feel sorry for you…lol

I feel sorry for myself too in that respect :frowning:
For those wondering- Jagdish Gandhi, the founder manager of CMS is famous for giving 4-5 hours COMTINUOUS speech which we CMS students have to face at least 4-5 times a year. What’s more, its exactly the same ideological, impractical and immature stuff everytime. Having studied here for 7 years, I can almost recite it word to word…the lighthouse story, the Ramayana story and so on…

Oh god…
You guys are fast

CC addiction can be harmful
Just a warning ;)

hello prateek92
so have decided your college?

Haha! Nice to see you back. I was beginning to wonder if all our spam had scared the seniors away :P

OMG! I just received a mail from Rutgers University, NJ by POST! LMAO!
Is it any good?

I’ve been getting regular emails from IIT(the illinois one) and rutgers. I dont even want to go to any of these places.

I’ve been getting emails and snail mail from a lot of places. Some brochures, like Amherst’s, are pretty cool to look at. Others kinda…suck.

well did u ask them?
or…

I requested my Amherst brochure and it came pretty soon. But I requested a Vassar brochure like 10 months back and I still havent received it.

Mine was unsolicited. Probably, they drew info from my profile at a college site.

No I requested nothing…

Rutger seems to be ranked around 50.
FAIL

Screw that, Rutgers reminds me of the Rugrats!

I thought of gutter first :P

Hiiiiiiiiiiiii peooooooooooooople.

that is really fast

nah…my college is still a conundrum
i’ve paid a deposit at Northwestern however its all subject to me getting of Carnegie’s waitlist (for my major)
and if i get off the waitlist at Harvey…oh man…

Northw is a nice school and all
but the job offers are mostly from investment banks
urrgh…i dont want to end up working for an I-bank… :/

gary…u’ll have to look down the rank list for a safety school that offers substantial aid to internationals…u should keep a safety regardless of anything

I’m sure there are non I-banking job offers for Northwestern grads. But still, Harvey Mudd would be pretty sweet for an engineering person.

Are jobs still available to internationals ?? I mean in the present state its pretty difficult. My cousin is finishing his PhD in Econ this year from UCBerkeley and he says that its pretty difficult to get work in the states. He’s managed to get a job in Belgium.
