<p>God no. The 11th was just divine. Academics were cool, the pranks and bunked classes were awesome, and it was just so…chilled out in general. w00t 11th!</p>

<p>My friend who is in a LAC tells me that Indians without AP credit have to take a lot of really easy classes like introductory calculus,etc because we in his professor’s words “do not learn the essence of calculus” in our curriculum. I think we learn a lot more than the americans. I found AP Calculus is really easy.</p>

<p>My school has no GPA or Class Rank system. My report card has a column called “Class Average” which is a really big plus. I’ve got like 20% more in every subject than the average,so thats going to shine a lot.</p>
<p>We have percentages/aggregates, right. In our school we also have this thing called a merit list on which the unweighed GPA and class rank of the top 25 is posted. But that’s only for 11-12, so in 10 you really don’t know what your rank is. You just know your aggregate because it’s on your report card and you know what the highest aggregate is.</p>
<p>Yeah, I barely managed 80 in 9 and 10 and was only top 3 in my section, which is going to bite me in the a** very very badly.</p>

<p>fests as in a weekend of unending fun organized entirely by students-war of the Djs,western dance,music,and about 50 other things like massive treasure hunts,plays,cycle race,mocktail making contest,tug-of-war,etc. Its like a really really long party. We even had fashion shows and a prom night,but things got out of hand a few years back so that was stopped. At the end a school is declared a winner (usually the home school).Around 10-15 schools participate. A massive stage is made with lights and dry ice and big huge background. Lot of school patriotism and cheer. Its really great. Why did it have to get stopped in my year ???</p>
