Wait, doesn’t Dartmouth have an app fee!?

Err…no.

hides

hi everyone, another indian here…lurking around this website lately…finally decided to post here!

and anurag even i am applying to dartmouth primarily because of that reason lol.

@ tetris- you can always send a fee waiver.

No, you don’t have to pay to submit the supplement. You have to pay later when you submit the common app.

Hey! Glad to see so many new faces :).

I doubt I’d get a fee waiver. I was just a bit confused for a moment lol.

Does anyone know if any of the following univ’s conduct interviews for international applicants in india…
yale, mit, harvard, princeton, upenn, dartmouth

I know that Yale and MIT do.

Tetris got accepted at UMich?!?!?

CONGRATS TETRIS!!!

Yes I did! Thanks!

wow, you guys are overachievers. and congrats, tetris. Umich is selective.

Thank you!

Plz help me clear a doubt-

Do univ’s like MIT and Yale try to interview all the canditates that apply from India or only the ones that are likely to be accepted, or in other words, does being called for an interview indicates the university’s interest in you?

No, not particularly.

How similar are the SAT Subject Tests on sparknotes to the real ones?

I used to get low 700s in Sparknotes chem. Got full in the real thing.

Wow,thats promising…same with the Math Lvl 2 too?

@tetris : did you get 2400 in SAT II?

Didn’t use Sparknotes for math.

No, I got 1570/1600.

Okay don’t trust sparknotes practice test for chem. In the first test I received low 700, in the very next test the score was high 600s and when I took one more practice test just two days before the real thing I got a score in the range of low 600. The practice test in there is flooded with errors as well.
