Domain of class of 2016!
By tradition as an outgoing member I'm creating this thread for college related discussion for India class of 2016.
Good luck guys! :)

NOTE: Old TiT 19 got deleted by moderator for too much unrelated talk. And the one below closed for the same reason actually:
The India Thread # 19
So, we created two threads, one for results and one for admission chat. A break from tradition, but I hope to bring it back on track!

PS: You guys are number 20 only, and not 21 because we were 19.

So much for tradition there wont be any kings or queens or post counts, TIT 19 got deleted :frowning: But okay things have to continue, so good luck all prospective applicants

PS: Link to TiT 18 seems broken

Hello everybody. Another class of 2016er here  I am currently studying in Class XII. have given SAT twice (1920->2060), have given SAT Math L2 : scores awaited, going to give TOEFL soon. Before the year ends and the application process begins, I would like to wish everyone all the best. Hope everybody gets where they want to be. :)

Some of you might find the following thread useful:

hey that link was really helpful!
@tippusultan and @perfectpixie - you’re seniors right? where did you finally end up at? just curious :P

So here is me ! I am from Jaipur , passed out from 12th and will be taking the SAT this October !

@ iamthebist pixie is going to harvard and as for tippu, i dont think anyone knows :P.

@n0madMIT - harvard?? seriously?? my!! thats my dream school! (everyone’s actually :P)
where are you placed btw?
@perfectpixie - could you tell your stats or scores plz? would let me know how hard i’d need
to work :)

i am going to attend IIT Powaii(Mumbai).

omg! you are one of the geniuses who crack the JEE and get top ranks! cool!

No offense to n0madMIT, but cracking the JEE with top ranks doesn’t necessarily mean one’s a genius, although I would say intensely hardworking for sure.

None taken, i’ve seen those type. But if you are a genius you can manage to watch 233 movies, stay up all night long in an internet cafe playing multiplayer games with your buddies and also get decent rank in jee :D

you actually counted the number of movies you watched xD

ya i have the complete alphabetical list, i wanted all the movies in my movie collection when i returned back home.

Hey, am in a bit of a hurry atm, but actually, I forgot to add this in the list, it’s the place we did the rest of our chit-chat, and since it was a significant part of our tenure here, I think it deserves a place here too: [TiT ver 2](TiT#18 ver2 - College Confidential Community - College Confidential Forums)

Nomad! I think either TippuSultan or Aniruddhc would be the king (it’s sorta clear it’s either of them, although I’m not sure which…I’d go for the first for obvious reasons :p), and as for the queen…do you have to ask? :stuck_out_tongue: :D

iamthebist: I had a 2230 SAT reasoning, 800 chem, 790 math 2 (don’t laugh, my math sucked that day)
A typical acceptee (is that a word?) has a mixture of national and state level awards in 3-5 ECs, and a lot of passion, good teacher recs…basically an application that falls together.
Sorry, can’t be more detailed, am in a hurry.

@perfectpixie - ohh okay…thanks…that should help even though state/national in 3-5 ECs is difficult!
btw i was just going through all the old threads ('15) and i became a fan of all you guys :D

Wassup CC ?!
