The Prestige is my all-time favourite.

uses a typical, high-pitched girly squeal

Ranbir is so cute ya

In exactly one month, ED notifications are out.

One month or less, actually.

anyone seen shawshank redemption? now that is a brilliant movie if i ever saw one.

@tetrisfan TOO CUTE YA.

I didn’t apply ED anywhere 'cause I procrastinated. Where did you all apply?

Brown! :D

I saw Step Up 2:The Streets on TV yesterday…some really amazing dance moves…

Not much of a plot, though.

shawshank is beast, agreed. other good ones are a clockwork orange, pulp fiction (tarantino!), District 9(if you want 2009 movies) but one of my favorite is gone baby gone(one of the best directed and morally gripping films i have ever watched). and anything involving dancing nowadays is ■■■■■■■■. and tetris, I assume you are excited for new moon?

Ooh, wow, Brown! Fin/aid?

Step Up has nice dancing, though.

I LOVED PULP FICTION. A Clockwork Orange somewhat freaked me out, though.

well thats the point. kubrik isnt known for succumbing to commercial assuage. after watching orange, i was profoundly shaken…so whatever
I hate all step up movies, i agree they have good choreography but that doesn’t make up one sided characters. And who got brown w/ fin. aid?

I have A Clockwork Orange sitting on my desk. I need to finish American Psycho and then devour all these books…sigh. Tarantino is the f***ing MAN. I’m not at all excited for New Moon. I outgrew the series a while ago :-/.

You know, you are one of the few females that say that. For some reason, people(mostly girls) are obsessed this Edward dude. American Psycho is good and yes Tarantino is amazing(Inglorious bastards was ok though)

Yeah, but all that stuff he was doing…it grossed me out. Alex DeLarge, I mean.

I have so much fun stuff to read and no time to do it. :(. Mostly hindu mythology stuff, though.

@surfup Do not discredit the female race! D: All of us are not faint hearted weaklings who swoon at the thought of emotionally abusive, control freak ‘sparkling’ vampires. Haha.

better than HC Verma, i guess. Imagine reading this IIT professor’s lame jokes about optics in idiosyncratic english that only those people understand…

Haha. meghnasridhar, you are officially awesome.

I’m not much into mythology. I read a lot of literary noir…think Palahniuk and Bret Easton Ellis. And a lot of absolutely random crap (no crappy romances though) like…The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao (also on my desk…sigh).

And no, I am not one to stereotype anybody. That was just my observation.

IIT is like a breed in itself. They make me feel woefully inadequate. And don’t worry, I was just kidding ;).

@tetrisfan :D! (The brief wondrous life of Oscar Wao was fun to read, though I never finished it. I only read bits because my uncle was, and I kept stealing it when he wasn’t looking ;). I’m heavily into all kinds of mythology stuff, though. There’s this Ramesh Menon version of the Mahabhartha…it’s like my life. I sleep with it.
