Hello, thanks for taking the time to check this out. I'm applying ED, so if I could get ED chances, that'd be fantastic.

here are the stats:

ACT: 31

AP's: Span- 5 Eng- 4 US History- 3

GPA:3.38

ECs listed on app: football, track, was in 2 clubs, and work; and tons of Comm. Service and will write about this in essays

Job/Work Experience: did finances that were really receipts at a family friend's company and also had a job there too

Essays (subject and responses): already started so they should be very good- on two hardships that have come down on me the last 2 years, and my dealing w/ them.

Teacher Recs: better than great

Counselor Rec: great

School Type: Private, does not rank

Ethnicity: Hispanic hopefully this helps a lot

Gender:M

Also: Took 3 summer courses at a local comm. college

My bro goes there. his grades were pretty low (compared to other Wake kids), so we were all pretty surprised when he got in...though he was state champ in debate (which i think really helped him get into Wake). Anyway, I'd say you have a pretty good shot of getting in. What state do you currently reside in?

I'd say good change at reg decision, don't know much about ED. Good AP scores and the community college classes look good, but you may want to check their policy on community college credit - not taken in some departments.

it's weird, it's 32 mins past the hour, yet it says that the prev. post was done 5 mins from now...

anywho, yeah the admissions person told me that they do not take comm. college credit for frosh. if i remember correctly.

and while i'm ranting, NBC is just a shame, michael phelps goes for the 3rd gold medal in less than two hours and we on the west coast get it at 10:16 pm, while it's live at the same time on the east. tsk tsk, really is unfortunate

this is just a general question which i guess will answer a personal question, but does anyone know how good of a chance the average hispanic has at WF? 3% total enrollment, and second lowest, is pretty darn low, even for a southern school.
