The last places I'd ever want to go: MIT, CalTech.
The places I'd like to be most: NYU Stern, PENN Wharton, New York City, and...uh...Paris.

Texas State

I think it's a common theme that people don't want to go to college at which people with whom they went to high school will attend.

Any school with a minority population lower than ten percent.

Some people, including many of the best students, want to get out of town and maybe out of their region of the country.

You might be surprised how many other high schoolers there are who can't even imagine the advantages of getting away from home, away from their friends, and away from the mediocre standards they have experienced so far.

"I think it's a common theme that people don't want to go to college at which people with whom they went to high school will attend."

exactly.

Yup, that basically sums it up. If I went to a school where the majority of my high school would be attending.. it'd be like high school all over again and I need a change... desperately.

i go to a school (hmc) that is an hour away from my house and no one from my hs goes there. in fact, 60% of the enrollment is from out of state.

"I think it's a common theme that people don't want to go to college at which people with whom they went to high school will attend."

Indeed. A LOT of kids from my area went to davis, and I just didn't want to go to school there after a while.

Bob Jones,Harvard,MIT,Davidson,Elon,Rutgers,Monmouth,Farleigh Dickinson,Nebraska-anything in the state,Kansas-anything in the state,Oregon,Brown,South Carolina....it goes on.

Did you get rejected from UCLA?

I won't go any place but Compton Community College HAR HAR

Alabama or any southern school, oh and that University that Pat Robertson and the 700 club own, screw that.

LOL! yep....

Nothing like "LOL!" to make yourself sound erudite.

i agree with #413 and thought it was amusing, what else did you want me to say?

Just wanted to make a snappy coment. :P

w1ckey you have Uchicago written all over you

NYU, toured that place. Looked like crap! all the buildings were randomly put together, your next class would be like 50 blocks away. (exaggerating) but it was just really bad. at least at cooper they were clumped together. Columbia was the best. I would say best campus, even if it's kinda smack dab in the middle of NYC. Princeton tops it.

Harvard. (10 char)
