The letter of recommendation from my guidance counselor has grammatical errors

Will this matter to the office of admissions? (for University of Miami and University of Florida)

These are pretty basic grammatical errors, by the way: has instead of is, consciencetious instead of conscientious… I’m just wondering if I should fix them?

im no expert on the topic, but why not just talk to the counselor?

i don’t think the counselor’s grammar mistakes are that important… just make sure you don’t make any grammatical errors on your essays… the counselor’s rec is supposed to paint a picture of the applicant… they won’t even analyze it for spelling because they aren’t the ones applying to the university.

just ask them if they would change the errors, since it is important for you to have a good letter, because it will be going to your college

lol, the admission officers will be very glad that they’re admitting you, not your counselor. My question is, why are you even reading your counselor’s recommendation letter? In order for a recommendation to carry weight, it’s usually better to waive that right, you know.
