The number "e"

Here is a little poem for you....

Dear number e,
I hate you and all your friends.
Last time I checked pie and i are not numbers
You all have compilcated math.
What happened to the simpler time of adding?
You have stolen it from me evil!
The foulest thing on the earth you will see
The number e.

Lol there is a sucky poem for you on my hate for the number e

Burn in hell.

How dare you talk about e like that!

Your mind cannot handle the beauty that is e.
The math is not complicated.

A point you have, my young MIThopeful.

omg, all my calc homework tonight was based on derivatives and integrals of e.
it’s so fun cause e is its own derivative.
or as my math teacher likes to say, e is its own grandpa. <3<3<3

Well, e^x is its own derivative.

The derivative of e is 0.

this is true, but that carrot-like symbol on my keyboard is sorta nonfunctioning at the moment. :frowning:
i have no ability to type the digit six.

I hope you’re not currently working on a term paper about the anti-Christ.

nah, but i am doing a report on local governments of pennsylvania, and of course i have the number between 5 and 7-th congressional district.

e^(pi*i)=-1

mindblown.

^ That is the single most beautiful line of mathematics ever written… Actually no the line e^(pi*i) + 1 = 0 is… because it relates the five most important numbers.

^Idk, it’s got tough competition with 9x-7i > 3(3x-7u)

I loved e, until we had to start integrating it. Then my love turned into only mild amusement.

Integrating e, <3

How dare you hate on e

e is sacred.

e is Jesus.

lol wow people what is so great about e anyway?! It is so complicated! Why would what’s his face even come up with e? The formula is so STUPID

His face is Euler, and he came up with it because he saw that it was indispensable for any situation that involves continuous growth or decay.

Uhh fine I will have to admit it I do like the formula for continuous growth… :/

What about 58008
