the october 2007 sat thread

was the one with halcyon experimental?

was the one w/ hydrogen fuel cells experimental?

I assumed that, in order for two circles to be considered different, they have to differ in center point and/or diameter.

Yeah, it's a very similar word to obstinate. They mean basically the same thing.

kitkat, i dont think it was. i had 4 CR sections, but dont remember reading about hydrogen fuel cells.

I picked baffled. Sardonic means bitterly mocking. If you could pick that then you could pick condescending just as well.

i didnt have the reading about fuel cells...

Fuel cells was definitely experimental =)

What did you guys get for the trapezoid area question? (Two triangles of sides 8 and 6)

grrr... it was really easy. It was about cars and alternate forms of energy... why couldn't the historian one be experimental...sigh

Halcyon was not experimental, hydrogen fuel cells was experimental

aaaa- I got 50

yeah skater girl passage 1 basically said that history is important

Is it possible to take an SAT with no experimentals on it?

None of my sections were super tough.

if hydrogen fuel was experimental, how come i had 4 CR sections, but not that passage?

it was def 50

i dont think it's possible because there are 10 sections and only 9 count..

starportdx I'm pretty sure the halcyon was not experimental because I had experimental math and i remember seeing the word on my reading section

here were some of my answers from physicst
wi****l???
show taht scientists would have to accept an unconformatle truth
have personal conversations
plum one- discover scientific truths
he never accuses any1
ptoemic was never characterized as being uncreative

I don't remember having 4 of anything though. I know for a fact that I had two writing and three math. And I'm pretty sure I only had 3 reading. :/

the two triangles had the same degree measures, but they were rotated, therefore the unknown triangle had a right angle... that made the 10 and 10 the base and height, therefore the area was50...

chinnu, i got all of those
