The Official AP Physics B Thread

Trixzoh, electric force is k times the absolute value of the charge divided by the radius squared.

is is weird that i’m excited for this test?

I took a multiple choice and got 30/70.

Yup, I’m screwed. :’(

Oh balls. I just started studying for this test about 90 minutes ago. And I’m taking Bio tomorrow in the morning, too.

I’m pretty solid on the stuff we did first semester (at least, it’s all in my head), but I’ve been all over the place this semester, so I’m not very good at E+M either. And don’t even get me started on light and optics. I’m actually a little bit terrified… I really, really want to get a 5 on this test (I’ve been in independent study and really want to prove it to myself).

Stupiddorkidiot,

considering how E+M is about 18 questions on the MC, we are not in shape.

HALF HOUR UNTIL EXAM! Shake the jitters out!

I want to go into college for physics, so I pretty much have to get a 5. I MUST OBLITERATE THAT EXAM PACKET! THERE WILL BE PAPER SHREDS EVERYWHERE WHEN I"M DONE!

@MovingToTexas

last year E+M was at least 35 of the 70 questions.

Good luck everyone!

DA ■■■. Kill me now.

Walked out smiling!!

MC’s were kinda hard but FRQ’s were easy, but this may because I only studied for FRQ’s and didn’t memorize anything on the reference sheets. Overall though, I think I did decent, hoping for a 5!

Hoping for a 5. Thought MC was easy, 2-3 of the FRQs were hard for me, didn’t get the thermo :(

The Multiple choice were so-so for me, I’m thinking 50/70, i never learned superposition principle so that bugged me, but the Free response were stupid easy.

I remember you have to use the integration of the hyperbola but I forgot the formula (something with ln(v0/v) maybe?)

Also didn’t get the weird spring.

Are you kidding me? FRQ was hard!!!

I only knew 3/7. I had to guess on the rest, partly cause my teacher never taught us the concepts. I also never understood E+M.

MC was not too bad. I predict 40.

I’m bad at Physics. Hope to get a 5 in WHAP and APHG.

I predict 3.

Also, never learned the current in a wire stuff for that one FRQ, totally guessed it all. That one and the thermo killed me  but the other ones were okay

Yayitsme, yup. I never learned that completely.

I thought thermo was easy, though.

The thermo should’ve been easy but I never learned the whole “if this is positive, this is negative” thing and was confused about the relationships

After looking at Appass, and I know it is not accurate, but I might have actually barely gotten a 4.

Hey guys. Approximately how many mc would I have to get right for a 4 if I got 35/80 points on the frq?
