CB's online course offers 6 sample tests. And as you may know the scores for these tests are reported in a range (ie. 2090-2180). What I was curious about was if I was taking these tests as my real tests, where would my score usually fall in the ranges they give (low, middle, high end of the range?). I would understand if no one could really tell where you fall in the score range, since the sat is based on a curve (hence the score range), but I am also really keen on knowing bc the ranges usually differ by about 200 points and that 200 points makes a huge difference in deciding where I am regarding my SAT abilities.

You can't really know because these questions have never been administered, so the statistics on each question can't be known. So if the relative difficulty of the questions isn't known through statistical means, it's hard to make a curve.

Generally, you'll want to average.

Oh ok, I thought these tests had been administered. I guess I will have to average.
