oh also i hate bush.

i hate not having a car

i hate when people think that political opinions can be divided into 2 categories.

Haha sarorah I agree with you completely :D :D :D

yeah me too except im in honors history which is for some reason harder than AP at my school! and im not even getting AP credit!!
plus my teacher is HORRIBLE..she gives stuff back like 5 months after we turn it in and is the most boring woman on earth... ughh

I hate it when you are wearing thick, warm cozy socks and you are doing the dishes and you step in spilled soapwater....argh then you have to go upstairs and put on a new pair I hate that

I also hate how the conservative right monopolizes morality and christianity to the point in which you cannot separate the two

I also hate college rejection letters

I hate when people hate Bush because it is the popular thing to do.

Actually, me too. I don't like Bush, but at least I have reasoning behind it. One time i tried talking politics with this one kid who had an anti bush shirt on, he seemed disinterested and had no clue what I was saying! I mean come on at least have legitimate rationale behind your opinions.

I hate people who used the Terry Schiavo stuation as a political tool.

if youre implying this about me, i can tell you that that's absolutely not true. i know his stance on almost all political issues and strongly disagree with all of them and am willing to debate it (though i dont feel like typing an essay right now). here are a few:

-i am very pro-choice, bush has absolutely no right to make such a personal choice for a woman
-i strongly support stem-cell research and find it ridiculous to make it illegal (even on embryos)
-i strongly believe in a separation of church and state (and church and school), which i think bush is a little confused about
-i am a strong advocate of the right to same-sex marriage (in fact it was the issue i chose to write a 10-page paper on in english last year)
and same-sex adoption
-i believe that hate-crime rules absolutely "apply to gays" (and think bush is a total hypocrite to say they dont since he very clearly DOES hate them)
-i am against the war in iraq
-i am against bush's plan to privatize social security
-i oppose the death penalty
-i support stricter gun control
-i do not think the wealthy need tax cuts (and my family is wealthy, im just not stupid and selfish enough to focus only on my own personal situation, unlike bush)
-i think its important to develop better global relationships
-i support the reduction of coal, oil, and nuclear energy, unlike bush's complete lack of care for the environment
-i disagree with wasting millions of dollars that are needed elsewhere with worthless anti-tobacco programs and drug tests at schools
-i do NOT support the use of the Terry Schiavo case as a political tool

happy now? and i can give reasons for each of my opinons but i think thats enough for now.

i would be quite interested to hear why you support bush
(i strongly disagree with you but i dont condemn you for being a republican)

I hate being accepted at my dream school (Duke) and then finding out that I can't go because the financial aid package is absolutely undoable.

They meet 100% of demonstrated need, but my expected Family Contribution for Duke is 3 times my FAFSA EFC.

College should be free for all people who are qualified. I'm a capitalist and despise socialism, but even Adam Smith supported the idea of free education in Wealth of Nations.

^^only a crazy liberal...lol jk, i respect your opinion, but i am a conservative, altho i do not agree with everything bush has done, i identify with the republican ideals most of the time... not you bcgousc*

Whats that cujoe?
I'm not sure I understand your post.
I am a social conservative and economic libertarian, but I just have a soft spot that says that if a person is qualified to get into a great school like Harvard or Duke, then the money shouldn't matter.

I think you are talking about hilary though (obviously a rabid liberal) but they have a right to believe whatever they want (Even though we are right...j/k).

haha hey watch it BC, i was just about to say that really sucks about the duke thing and i agreed with you!

That really sucks Hilary. And Anita I knew you could relate. Hopefully we'll ALL make it :)

I'm so worried about the AP exam. My teacher simply doesn't have time to teach everything. She said we'd finish the entire book by like May 4th and that's because she'll shove everything down our throats so to speak. So we do the review sessions in the morning and we're only going to get like 5 review sessions in so it's not even the best review. I'm gonna have to study a WHOLE lot on my own.

Such a stupid class that's wasting an incredible amount of time in my life. Both of my parents agree that I should have never taken it, and they're the kind of people who encourage taking hard classes and studying a lot. They can definently see that I'm struggling so much with it..according to them, high school shouldn't be this hard, college is. None of my younger siblings are taking it after they see how much I suffer from it. Argh! :(

I hate how little my AP gov. teacher actually teaches...We're on chapter 10 in the textbook, and there are 25 chapters...The test is in a month!

Oh wow that's bad mcz. Good luck man

bcgousc... i meant hilary :) and i was j/k... tho yes we are right

Cujoe did you get accepted into the gov school program?

Thanks, Sarorah...I'm probably going to just have to read the rest of the text, even if we don't get that far in the class...We have no hope of finishing it...
