Just a place to work out anxiety until that fateful day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9 Days, 1 hour, 50 minutes until midnight on Judgement Day!

EST, of course. It'll be 10PM here.

tommorow is the first..... Jees

gah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so nervous!

MARCH 1STTTTTT!

only 6 days of school left until the 10th!

I'm hyperventilating. I can't believe March 10th is sneaking up so fast.

Me neither. I can't believe that after this month is over, there is a chance I'm going to stay at my current school. It's just, surreal that it's so PERMANENT.

this is officialy the last week before M10. I hope it speeds by.

Just thought I'd point this out...

There's already a thread devoted to counting down, and it's been going on for over a thousand posts! Let this thread die, the idea was Saer's like months and months and months ago

It's just a thread...

you act like it's some kind or novel idea that will win a million dollars in some contest.

yeah. jeez. Can't there be more than one thread? It's not like it was Saer's idea, there have been countdowns since CC's inception.

don't be such a party pooper!

and this thread isn't ready to die. I won't put it down!

Has anyone noticed that M10 is a full moon???? creepy...

I kind of agree with RingTingTing only because they are the same topic and it is even almost 100 pages long.

whatever
fine
hurt my feeelings
i'll go sob and contemplate suicide in the corner

I am new, so please bear with me. D is applying for a few day schools. No on-line decision choice from most of them. Schools say they will mail the decision on March 10th. Does this mean we won't get it until the 11th or 12th? I am a nervous wreck and trying to decide if I should take a day off on the 10th. Anyone has got any letters on the 10th before where there is no on-line choice?

As much as I want to know the results- I wouldn't take a day off. You'll need your days off for revisit days! :)

From what I have read about last year you could get the letter on the 10th , 11th , 12th or 13th. It seems in the past acceptances have come earlier and waitlists/rejections a few days later but that is not a hard and fast rule.

As an intl student, I get the decision for Andover and Exeter online; Exeter at 6am my time, and Andover at 2pm my time.

Some schools specifically state whether the notice is MAILED on the 10th, or that the students will RECIEVE it on the 10th. Others, on the other hand, aren't terribly conclusive with the timing... hmm... I'm just glad I don't have to ask this question! :P

Izzy Busy Bee, did I actually just read a post by you about getting your feelings hurt on your thread? Way to take it too far...

Sorry. I just think it's silly to make a total wannabe countdown thread a week before decisions when Saer's has been going on since August and has accumulated 100 pages and 1,200 posts. Whatever. I accept that not everyone thinks like me but I think it's stupid to create an "official" countdown when Saer has had her very much official countdown going since August.

OK, that's my rant. Go as you were.

It hasn't gotten to 100 yet. Just wanted to say.
