<p>I am freaking out soo much and its crazyā¦ Ive been especially obsessed with duke the past few weeks since i got waitlisted at my other two schoolS!</p>

<p>The one thing I would like to vent about on here is that, even if I donāt get accepted to Duke, Iāve already gotten accepted to a great school: UT AUSTIN! and Maybe into their Hindu/Urdu language flagship which is such an opportunity. </p>
<p>And Iām SURE all of yāall have been accepted to great universities! Iām not trying to BRAG, but just APPLYING to Duke makes us special!

<p>@mathlvr: Iām not sure why youāre asking me specifically but my answer is that it depends on how recent these achievements and your correspondence to the admissions office was. If it was anytime after mid-March, you can safely assume that it no longer will have relevance to your admissions decision because by that point, the committee starts wrapping up its work. If it was prior to early-March, you can assume theyāve taken note of said achievements even if they havenāt replied to your mail. Itās a little futile in either case to expect a reply from them at this late stage.</p>

My major right now is pre-pharm, but I think Iām going to change it to a double major in Chemistry/Biology! What about you? :)</p>

<p>I think they timed it to be in between the Ivies and the schools that are releasing at the end of this week (most of their peer institutions fall into either category).</p>

<p>^Ha yeah, it seems like getting in is the relatively easy part. Now I have to find a way to pay $50,000 a year w/no FAā¦</p>
<p>^I donāt have financial aid either, and there is no way my parents can afford the $50,000+ it will take to attend, especially with two children in college. Iāve been working on every scholarship I can get my hands on, but Iām afraid it wonāt be enough.</p>

<p>My parents said that theyāre willing to pay half, and that we should take out a loan for the other half.</p>
