Been seeing an increase on my scores! Quite happy. I would be so happy if I hot a 1900+.

5 days, how is your preparation going?

5 days, how is your preparation going?

I’m really excited! I feel pretty prepared, though I’m surprised there aren’t too many people on CC taking this test compared to October’s. Maybe November’s SAT isn’t that sought-after? Hopefully that won’t influence the curve.

From the mock tests I’ve been doing, I’m in the 1900-2100 range. If I manage to get a 700 on each part, then I’d be completely content!

Me too, I am scoring on the 2000-2100. Maybe we need to wait a little bit more to see the people who are going to take the test.

Hello guys! Have been preparing for two months now, had a 1580 in the first practice test. But last month I got an 1880(CR 560 M 680 W 640: essay 8 MC 65), now I think I am in in the 1900-low 2000s range(CR high 500s-low600s, M 700+, W depends on essay).
I would be so unhappy and irritated if I get high 1900s and not cross 2000. 1900s seem so less in comparison to the mighty 2000s hahaha. Even though the difference isn’t much. Do you guys think so too? My CR is weak and i would be happy with 650. Writing essay (8) is preventing me from reaching the 700s and math I will be aiming for an 800 (Sometimes I make careless mistakes and sometimes I am puzzled with about 2 questions). So what are you guys doing this week?

I took my first SAT test in October and got 2010. My maths and writing were OK but my CR was about 80-100 points lower than my practice tests so I decided to take the test again! Hope this time I will be more confident in the testing room

Been preparing like a madman lately, ever since I got a 1700 on October.

omg @youngbin1130 literally I’m doing the exact same thing. My score DROPPED on the Oct SAT from my previous score…like 150 pts. Such a total FAIL on my part. I got a 1920 in JAN, then a complete drop to 1780 in OCT, and my goal is a +2000 this saturday.

But I don’t think i’ve ever done so much SAT prep in my life; nor taken so many SAT practice tests in one week, this week, to score higher.

So far my scores on my BB practice tests are inching upward…but then again, I’m taking them one right after the other. I started studying this week…so I’ve been basically doing one test/day & two tests when I’m feeling up for it. I’m noting my progress and it’s definitely there…just SO slow.

Sometimes, I look at other people’s scores and I use that to motivate me. Like if someone else can do SO well on CR, than so can I. Ugh…whatever, I just needed a study break. BACK TO WORK! GL everyone!! I hope y’all are getting much more sleep than I am. Peace!

1 day more. I hope that everyone achieves a good score.

Likewise! Remember, walk in that class room with a cool head and a calm heart. Block out everything and everyone around you and only focus on the little booklet before your eyes.
Show no mercy to the SAT, be ruthless! Shoot down a question, and look back at it to see if it’s really down!
College Board is our friend, the SAT is its rabid dog who needs to be put down. It’s up to us ;)! Good luck to us all!

guys
I have a question
is the sat test ever repeated from the practice test
and what are QAS

It’s tomorrow! I’ll be one of the first people to take it (I’m from the Philippines) so, I’ll be sure to update the docs ASAP. Hope I get a good score tho. :(

@C0113G3B0UND Hopefully we both get a 2000+!

Do international students get the same test that is administered in the USA?

No
