The Official November 2014 SAT Thread (INTERNATIONAL)

YEP it’s A. Yay.

@mdaggar i got a for that one

Are you asking about the question about the are of the triangle ?
I think It was 5

And I left 2 questions and made 1 mistake…

@John12344‌ what was that q about can u be a little specific?

What question was that about w?
@GLPDickson‌

I remember that was a line parallel to the height of the triangle. The area of the triangle was 30 and the line was 12 so you need to find the heigh, which was 5.

@John12344‌ it was in the 3rd math section… There were 2 parallel lines and they gave you a bunch of points with known coordinates and you have to find the ordinate of a point on one of the lines

Do you have math as experimental or was on the SECTION that has grid in@mdagger‌ ?

@John12344‌ the answers were something like 5 1/2 5 1/4… 5 1/5

@John12344‌ i think it was with the grid section. not sure tho

Nope i had CR experimental @John12344‌

Yeah It was 5 3/5, A.

Since they were parallel, those lines have the same slope.

How did you do the pan question?

Oh ok thanks

@John12344‌ i got 2/3 since the amount of cake poured was equal

Thanks @GLPDickson‌ I put that but I wasn’t 100% sure.

I don’t remember what the sentence said, but for the writing section, did you guys get “No Error” for #28, the second to last identifying the error problem?

Yes, “would” trick me a little bit.
