my rant for the day
which proves just how much of a crazy idiot i am,

a couple hours ago i was considering an overdose ,
because i spent all week doing nothing ,
and now i am royally screwed for my research project which i need to get results for by tuesday

now i’m starting to question my sanity , again instead of doing my research project.
today was supposed to be my research day and instead i spent it sleeping and reading children’s books.
the sad part is it’s a really fun project and i’m just neglecting it because i’m lazy.
as of now,
i still haven’t started

^Aww:( Seriously, if you ever need to talk to any of us, feel free to PM us. Don’t overdose! We won’t kick you out of school either. I feel the same way in terms of being lazy.

No problem:) I’ve been through my share of depression and if I ever become a psychiatrist, I’m not going to guilt trip anyone. Seriously, I hate it when people use that whole, your life is better than some people’s. How does that solve anything? Anyway, feel free to rant or whatever, I can (hopefully) help you:)

ouch yea that’s a terrible argument,
it’s like when you’re in pain thinking about starving children in africa never makes that better
another one i hate is “suicide is selfish” or “you have so much to live for,”
i mean how would THEY know whether you think things are worth living for,
and isn’t it more selfish to expect a suffering person to stay alive for others,
but i don’t get those arguments a lot because when people tell them to me i don’t confide in them anymore

Yes, my goal is to succeed in doing better than some of the other psychiatrists(if I ever become one)
I’ve been to one and that was probably the worst money my family has spent. It was 4 or so years ago and not related to depression, but it’s the same idea haha

you’d probably do better than they would ,
a lot of them are more med-school oriented than people oriented so they’re kind of insensitive and not very understanding
(but there are a lot of good ones too , trying not to overgeneralize)

what were you there for if you don’t mind me asking? you don’t have to respond if it’s too personal for the forum

Thanks:) I’m kind of interested in both of the components so I suppose it’s the best of both worlds:) O, I was there because I had an eating disorder. All that woman talked to me about was the starving people in Africa and how blessed I am to have food, which didn’t help.

No worries though, it was years ago and it was mainly because of extremely low self-esteem due to what I was subjected to with one of my friends. I’m not friends with this person any more and have since then acquired a higher self-esteem:)(although, like most people I still struggle) I think it’s a good topic to talk about on college applications, kind of like a personal event that one has overcome:)

They only need maintenance once a day due to a broken part which costs much money to repair, while on other cars this is rare on a day to day basis!

Which should you choose?
Yes, that’s correct… the Audi!

I read these threads and I see that some schools charge lots of money for transcripts or require their students to get applications submitted before a certain time. What the heck? The transcripts are only one piece of paper and are not worth $20 and what does it matter to the school if the students don’t turn their applications till December? Why do they care? Don’t they realize that this may put some students in a bind for ED? Why charge so much for one piece of paper especially considering the paper belongs to the student anyway?

I have no idea. I agree with you though, I think schools and colleges charge way too much. Do you know how much my PSAT ticket cost? 35 dollars! The proctor didn’t even collect my ticket…what a waste of money.

Wasn’t able to attend school Monday or Tuesday due to fever etc… coincidently had a doctors appointment set for today and was told I’m not able to attend school at the least until Friday ( told I dont have a flu or anything). I guess I had a early spring break. Worst that came with my fever was cough.

What’s humorous is that even though I switched schools, I still get calls from my school saying that I ditched class because I was only there for a few periods LOL
What’s sad is that I still get text messages from friends asking me what their homework is…have they not noticed that I haven’t been there in a month?

i think i got alot smarter after junior year. seriously. my classes are a breeze this year. and i have ap physics c, chemistry, gov, lit, stats.
