Random Rants

I would just like to complain for a moment. Over Thanksgiving break - THANKSGIVING BREAK - our Physics teacher gave us a take home quiz (that's not the bad part, I'd rather do take home than a real test) and a LAB. To do at HOME. Measuring the percent of an ice cube below water level. How annoying....ARG.

I am very annoyed now. Thank you for letting me rant.

anytime.

I have to read Act I-III of Hamlet. It's not that bad, except I loathe Shakespeare, and this one doesn't have notes or anything to explain things. And they shortened all the names to like, "Ham:, Br:, Pr:" So annoying.

OMG I know how you feel! We've read Acts I and II and are doing III over break...I have to read it outloud to myself because Shakespeare is IMPOSSIBLE

Use sparknotes - the summary helps so you know what is going on when you're reading and can focus a little more on understanding the language rather than trying to understand what they are saying and the language at the same time.

For Shakespeare - go see if you can find a performance of it (taped or live). It is much more easily understood when performed. And then it'll be easier to read.

When I saw Much Ado About Nothing performed, Shakespeare's language was easy to figure out. Now I can read the play easily because I know how everything is supposed to be said.

Oh, and AP Physics, AP Literature, AP Art History, and AP Art Studio can go burn in hell.

I AM THE MOST UNMOTIVATED CHILD ALIVE TONIGHT. Thank you.

here here!

Burn AP classes, burn!

I was soooo good first quarter. Senioritis? Not a problem. But now the thought of opening my Euro book is enough to make me curl up in a little ball.

The thought of opening up my euro book at any time makes me want to curl into a ball. It's heavy. It's bulky. It's too informative.

I remember the days when I liked European history...

You'd think with the 100's of years + of school "they" would have figured out an innovative way to keep us from being unmotivated!

My teachers love their students. After all, "you hurt the ones you love," right? Because having to do a project for AP Bio, a take home test for AP Bio, a project for Economics, and reading from Paradise Lost for AP Lit, in addition to getting the sheets for my school to mail my transcript to colleges, all during Thanksgiving Weekend, is quite painful.

I'm sorry you guys
i mean i have homework too but im not doing it
besides my 2 lab partners who did nothing this thanksgiving went ahead and did the lab due monday so at least im not getting a 0 lol
im seriously not doing any of the work, im taking it easy
i mean its vacation time, teachers can kiss it
and i never used to be like that, but once i adopted this whole .. i dont really care .. kinda attitude, i've had a lot more fun
i mean try it, even if you get a B or something, you'll feel much more relaxed and maybe even more willing to work after you see failure .. at least that's my mentality

Spinach...you're in like 5th grade....you don't have a lot of homework...

I have the easy semester know but I still get homework! Next semester will suck for sure.

I have to outline an entire chemistry chapter and fill out a worksheet. I have to complete a chemistry lab report. Then I got a wacky journalism assignment to take a photograph of something "newsworthy". I dont even have a camera- I'll have to use my moms. Any ideas from someone here of what to take a photo of. I dont know anything newsworthy.

sr6622, for someone who has been here for so long you should know better, no one appreciates trolls, so why don't you mature a little? It may even do you some good.

Back to topic, Take-Home Math test... along with several projects due next week...... I hate how some of my teachers believe that just because your in an ap class, nothing else but THERE class matters. My psychics teacher is a complete dick head, "your in an ap class, act like you are." "You had a jewish holdiay? We are in an ap class, you should have made time for it." Bleh~!

well you can't blame him. AP= Advanced Proficient. you should've known it'd be like that..it's not like they forced you to enroll in AP.however i know what you mean by how teachers sometimes think your life revolves around their class. its like they think A. You don't have other classes. B. You don't have other obligations. C. You don't have a social life.
Can't wait till college!

ROFL!!! My school isn't allowed to give us homework over breaks. Then again... I only get a weekend at home every 4-5 weeks :(.

I actually don't have any homework. Just the dreaded IB coursework. It's driving me crazy all the work.
