<p>I keep making friends only to lose them soon after. Things are getting better but I’m still making horrible mistakes. </p>

<p>Second semester senior year sucks when you essentially have no friends (or when they’re all spread out in different groups).</p>

<p>I had a Spanish presentation as my midterm. Worked in a group of 3. The other two people were not really my friends but more people I’ve known since forever. I ended up doing the whole powerpoint, with the info, making it look nice, etc which took up a lot of time that I could’ve spent studying for a bio test that I had the next day.</p>
<p>We gave the presentation and since the other people I worked with obviously didn’t know what was in the powerpoint (you were supposed to make bullets for talking points, not to read right off of the powerpoint so I tried to talk naturally using some of the notecards I made) I started off by talking. Unfortunately, I stumbled over a few conjugations and pronunciations but it was clearly me talking from basically the top of my head.
My other partners eventually got the gist and talked for one of the slides except both of them just read word for word from the slides that I made. They were clearly less frazzled than I was due to this.</p>
<p>We get our presentation grades back (with all three of our grades on it) and I was absolutely shocked that I got the lowest grade in our group. 27/35. My other group members both got 31/35. I can’t understand for the life of me why this is fair in any sense. </p>
<p>I know that I had the option of choosing our group but I didn’t expect that I’d be doing all the work for the group. I’m not the best Spanish student (worst subject) but this time I tried really hard to get a good presentation grade but life was just against me. I’m just so annoyed that my time and effort into this counted for nothing (and actually went against me). Ugh</p>
<p>I got rejected for a scholarship and I didn’t think it was a big deal until my family started telling me it was. In the acceptance thread there, people were obsessing about how bad a 2360 is. I hate how my best friend won’t stop complaining. Ok, so your bf lives in another country and your parents are not too happy with you but please stop saying your life is the worst in the world because it’s not.</p>

<p>I failed my chem final because I marked the bubbles out of order. I marked the answer to two on number three, and so on. Yay. Still finished with an A.</p>

<p>I hate people telling me I can’t take AP Spanish. WHAT?! Of course, I can. I’m now ranked 29/665 at my school, and the #4 girl is complaining. NO. Next year is going to be criminally difficult. So what if I got a C in Honors Bio because of 8-hour rehearsals? I’m about to take one of the most challenging schedules possible next year (AP Spanish, AP English, AP USH, Honors Physics, Honors PreCalc), and I got people saying I’m not smart enough… Rude.</p>
