Um ... I don't even know all the location/names of states right now... (okay, maybe I do, but really...)
Anyway that explains a lot (with your scores and everything).

hmmm... well. I hate to say this, but they accept wayyyy too many not smart people into IB at our school. fortunately many of those don't get [IB] diplomas so the programme itself is not defective. shrug

Spruce Creek High School btw

computergeek: What is the average SAT at your school? (1300 M/V?)

^clarify M/V?

I would say about 1100-1200/1600 average

EDIT: There is a large jump in the upper range of IB from about 1300 mid range IB to high 1400->1580

No one at our school has gotten a 1600 in like 5 years

Well, does that include you? :p Jk.
Thanks for bearing with me on that one...
Same question as Joe.

Btw, my post time = 11:11 ^_^

Edit: M/V = Math+Verbal (aka CR and Math scores only). Also known as Composite score.

1100-1200?
That's lower than George Bush's score. :p
(I think).

Math/Verbal

probably...

The lower range IB are actually just kinda smartish regular students. Nope, no 1600 for me, although maybe this will be it (I'm not taking it again. EVER)

EDIT: @Feed, Average IB Score for SAT is like 1400 I think composite

EDIT2: Actually... my estimate was probably slightly low, I would say 1200 avg

EDIT3: just to let you know, my post number is a power of 2 right now :D

^ Aw, lol. I'm probably taking it one more time. :(

That's cool. Honestly I'd rather do 3 AP tests than another SAT

At least they have FREE RESPONSE :D
Too bad they're taking away Comp Sci AB

^ I'd rather take the SAT than 3 APs... you don't have to prepare for the SAT... I mean, you don't have to KNOW any like facts... because it's just out of the blue. You need to knew a few rules and that's it.

LOOL @ power of 2. xD
You're hilarious.

As in they, did you mean your school? Or is this something I'm unaware of ...
I was planning to take AP Comp Sci next yr. :/

Mind if one more person obsesses over SAT score reports with you?

(And keeps her mind off the AP US test she just...erm...did not get a 5 on? Or even a 4?)

Hey noobie what the problem is? :D

will colleges look at your scores differently if you take the october sat right before the ED date?

11 DAYS GUYS!!!
yay yay yay NOT

I had a dream last night where I got my results back and they were wayy below what I expected. When I woke up I was super relieved...but I'm still taking this as a bad omen

2400 is in the bag.

@EliCash91 - I had a dream before I took the SATs that every single question was something incredibly impossible ("What did they call Polish nobles in the 18th century?") with ten different choices that were words, symbols, and sentences - so Alton Brown from Good Eats and the Food Network came and explained everything to me...???

Then I had a dream I got a 1620 and everyone was really proud. Except for me. weird...

As long as I get high enough for National Merit, I don't care. I need to stop worrying about them now; slinking around CC threads and checking every single answer is getting a little obsessive.

EliCash91: oh. my. GOD. i have those dreams at least once a week about grades, scores, contests, etc. :p

i am bored

hi .
