I’m in CA and nothing has come in the mail

Haha, Zenout would you like me to make you an Admin on the facebook group so you can basically take over the reins of updating it and stuff? I am not very proficient at facebook but I wasn’t sure if anyone else would create a group so I took the initiative of starting one. I would be more than willing to hand the control of the group over to you though. Send me a facebook message if you’re interested. And if you’ve been accepted, or even if you’ve been rejected, feel free to join the group to discuss stuff for the fall.

Accepted! :)

Congrats to everyone! It came to my house so I found out via a fb message from my mom. Still, it’s one damn good feeling.

Well hopefully I’ll be getting mine tomorrow. Congratulations to all of you! Seems like there’s been good luck in this thread

Think the people in CA will hear tomorrow, arcadefire1027?

I’m in northern va, and haven’t received any mail yet.

Waitlisted, though it did say they only put 60 kids on the waitlist.

I still haven’t heard anything. Think that’s bad news?

I got it.

I don’t think it’s necessarily bad news, they mailed it with regular postage so arrival of the “news” will all depend on where you live…

I live like less then two hours from the school. i hope they’re not delaying a rejection.

You should call the admission office in the morning to make sure a decision was made.

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but do our GPAs transfer from our old schools to W&M? I’ve read that it at some schools it does, while at others it doesn’t. I know that if you get below a C you don’t get transfer credit, but I’m unclear about the GPA. Thanks!

Your GPA does not transfer from your old school to W&M. Only your credits will transfer. You will start out with a brand new GPA at WM - just like starting college all over again (-:

Great, thank you! :)
