Die, thread, die.

It died two pages ago.

hahhaahaaa stuk on 1700

wow... this thread is a bit confusing. . . ya know. . . just a little.

So I thought about what would be appropriate to mention in a thread about the opposite sex on a college forum.

And I'm actually seriously wondering if sexual orientation usually results in bias of some sort for apps. I mean, I'm straight, and plus, there isn't supposed to be any sexual discrimination [as well as other types], BUT ... it exists, no?

Sexual orientation bias your apps? It shouldn't, but it really depends on the individual, and you don't exactly mention your sexual orientation in college apps, do you?

I don't think schools want to know or even care about their student's sexual orientation. Why would they?

They have interviews and some kids are flamboyantly gay and stuff. So maybe there are homophobic application people. I just thought that would stink if it happened.

schools never judge applicants by their ethnicity/race/religion/sex; so why would they make an exception for orientation? Yeah maybe the guy interviewing mught be homophobic..but I'm sure he/she would put that aside in order to remain non-biased.
