The "Perfect-Application" Test

what about AIME since 8th grade
or USAMO since 8th grade?
haha
what about that kid that got into USAMO this year and was a 4th grader?
IMO is more than what you said. it's probably like.... +500!
and MOP is probably like +30 , especially for Harvard , MIT and caltech haha

160... thank god for the skew towards math and science.

155...10chars

196.

10 chars

more research -oriented stuff is needed lol. nothing about isef/siemens, etc is included

You put waaay too much weight on ECs. Also, being female is bad, not good.

193.. man, i'm asian

how the hell do you get a 193? I have all AP's 5's 1500+ 780's on SAT IIs. 4.0, ranked #1, officer of 2 clubs, and nationally ranked in 2 sports and come up with 140.

That's sick.

I got a 79 (with the language post) and I'm a rising junior so I'm only predicting.

bump. just because i loved this thread last year and think that newer members might enjoy it too :P

111 10 char

107, but we don't have any Math Olympiad stuff here, so that seems kind of unfair. :/ Either way, though, I'm still going to Dartmouth. :)

Edit: Perhaps because I'm half-Asian, I should only get one point deducted for a total of 108 instead?

18... god damn KKK....

but seriously 58 wow i suck

does Indian count as asian cuz i did count it as asian...

140 points, going to Stanford as an Asian international.

I got 148... :( I missed out almost all the recommenders stuff.

106.9 using original post.

5) You have 4s and 5s on all your AP exams. (+5 points)
6) You have 5s on all your AP exams. (+5 points)
7) You're a National AP Scholar. (+5 points)
8) You're an AP Scholar With Distinction. (+2 points)

These are things you don't know when you are completing your applications.

only got ~90 points... then again this is rather biased against internationals

the awards section is really, really heavily skewed towards math/science...

what about "national language exam" etc?

also, 200 community service hours is not +2...if all those APs count as +2...the APs are way too heavily favored...they aren't 5-10x more important than your SAT, etc

I think she means before senior year. You can get the awards before senior year if you qualify. I got the AP Scholar certificate last year, and I believe TokenAdult has a link to a bunch of AP statistics that show how many students get each award each year.
