What do you think about what’s been going on with the president at AU?

w/e it doesn't matter, he is removed from his position, so perhaps now everyone can stop talking about it and just move on. There are so many other wounderful positive attributes of AU that are getting over shadowed because of Ladner. Why don't we talk about that instead.

Isn't this the second president that has been removed from AU in recent times?

Ben Ladner became President of AU 1994, 11 years ago. According to The Eagle, the student newspaper , Ladner did much to improve the quality of AU. However had an over "sense of entitlement" charged the university for many extravagences, including personal chefs, personal parties, excessive travel expenses and chaffeurs.
I think think the university will overcome this crisis quite welll. The structure that are now in place, have made for an outstanding education committed to public service with outstanding & numerous internship opportunities & international programs in such diverse places as Cuba & Nigeria
