ohhhh man, that is an awesome line.

lol, Shakespeare is so much fun to talk about. Hamlet makes soo many innuendoes!! lol. But his plays have so many memorable lines - they're all so great!!! damn, what a genius lol

in my class, people are like shy to talk about sex lol. it's kinda funny really, especially since Shakespeare's work always have some kind of dirty joke in them. so you know everyone is thinking the same thing and understands what the line means, but no one will volunteer the answer aloud lol.

Haha, I sit next to a Southern Baptist girl, and she's so freakin' sheltered its creepy. Like, I can feel the discomfort radiating off her in waves. And Shakespeare's a genius, but I really prefer satirists like Pope and Swift. Have you read "Rape of the Lock?"

i haven't read Pope, and i've only read Gulliver's Travel's by Swift. I'm okay with satire. Gulliver's Travel's i really liked, but some of mark twain's stuff...ehh...and no, i haven't read rape of the lock. (too many books to read, and never enough time!!! >_<) lol

i think i like drama more than complete works of satire (though some things are really great like A Modest Proposal lol) we read dante's inferno this year - that was so interesting!! (though i have yet to read the whole thing lol - i hate being TOLD what to read; i like to read things at my own pace on my own time)

Haha, yeah, never enough time. Rape of the Lock is great. But at the moment, I'm neglecting the classics to read John Hodgman's The Areas of My Expertise. Its a compendium of world knowledge, all of it made up.

some of the best things in the world are made up!!! i love the imagination! lol ^_^

Haha, funny paragraph from the book

THE STERLING MEMORIAL LIBRARY,
YALE UNIVERSITY, 2ND REGRESSION

Atop yale University's imposing Sterling Memorial Library the curious will find something incredible: air-conditioning vents, and also, a complete model of the great walled city of New Haven made of copper. It is very detailed and includes all the buildings of Yale University. A waist-high Sterling Memorial Library stands at its center, and atop that there is yet another perfect model of New Haven, containing yet another Sterling, and so on, into infinity. This second Sterling Memorial library (which, by the way, is the nation's third-largest Sterling Memorial Library) is designed to hold a single volume, which contains within its pages the fate of the United States, in great detail, through the year 3000.

hahaha...i wonder how yale feels about this dedication...lol
