The Sun Needs Web Designers

If you are reading this, and are at all interested in new media, web design, programming, or relational database work, I would encourage you to work for the Sun:

Join The Sun's Web Department | The Cornell Daily Sun

The writing has regained its footing thia year after a couple of really bad years. It would be nice if their web presence followed suit.

Cornell has the most unfriendly website(s) for its students. There is no one central place for its students to do everything. You often have to log in multiple times to manage your affairs at Cornell because each department has its own login procedure - housing, meal plan, financial aid, bursar, course selection, career center. I do not understand why there isn't a single sign in, without multiple screen pop-ups, and there is no rhythm or reason how menu or content is organized.

I am surprised no current student has complained about Cornell's website.

I just got my NetID and was looking uPortal. The navigation on that thing is terrible.

darn... cornell students only. =/
