Well done Stan! I’d love an all Swiss final but Rafa probably has other ideas. Still, it’s all good and I can watch the rest of the matches without worrying that someone horrid is going to win.

Too bad we have to watch in the middle of the night to see the matches live!

It’s only for 2 weeks. I joke that I have jet lag without ever leaving the house.

And at least we now have the option of watching it live. I remember when everything was shown on tape delay.

What time EST would the Nadal- Federer match be on???

3:30 am Friday

Thanks Lulu - so I can wake up at 5:30ish and still likely catch some of it.

Going to be a great match…the question is…can I stay up through the whole match? Im on the west coast and going to try my best!!

Woke up at 5-all in the first, gotta love ESPN streaming on the iPad as I sure wasn’t getting out of bed. Way to go Rafa. Tape on the left palm seems to be gone. He seems to be tired of talking about the blister.

I am on the West Coast, so the match started at 12:30 AM. We left ESPN on when we went to sleep, I woke up mid-way through the second set and watched the 2nd and 3rd sets. I was rooting for Federer, but Rafa played great. I like Rafa, but will root for Wawrinka in the final since he is the under-dog (and I am a sucker for an under-dog).

I’ll be rooting for Stan, too.

I will be rooting for RN. He’s in striking distance of the GOAT with the time he has before retirement if the knees hold up.

I like 'em both, so I’m more rooting for a five set classic than anything else…

I always root for Rafa.

For the ladies, as long as there is no Serena I’m happy.

Well done LI NA! Deserved. Happy she has a second slam under her belt.

Tried to leave the TV on when you go to sleep trick again and watched the last few games of the first set. I would have been happy either way, but Li Na was really playing great.

Very happy for Na! Waking up tonight to watch Nadal. TGIWeekend!

Was rooting for Stan but am disappointed to see Nadal injured.

Stan won. Nadal had no chance against Stan today, “inured” or otherwise. Stan beat Djokovic in a convincing manner earlier, and at the Australian, Djokovic is heads and shoulders above the rest. This week, nobody had a chance against Wawrinka. The guy was in the zone.

I was also happy that Li Na won. I had prefered it if Ivanovic won, but I am very happy for Na.

Only woke up in the middle of set 3. Didn’t know about the Nadal problems until after it was over.
Congrats to Stan.

Very happy for Stan. I must say I’m a bit suspicious of the “injury”.
