Did your wait-list email actually say that you were wait-listed at NYU Tisch or NYU in general? Because I too was wait-listed and I accepted the offer to stay on the list. The form that I completed asked if I was willing to apply to any of NYU’s other schools or satellite campuses. What does this mean? Am I on the NYU Tisch wait-list or are they trying to fill a spot in another school?

It doesn’t specify the program but I would think that I’m waitlisted for the program I applied for in NYU.
I also think that they are simply offering waitlisters the option to express interest in being taken off the list into other programs/locations. I doubt they would fill in spots in other schools with people who do not want to be there - they probably have people who applied for those schools waitlisted as well.

I auditioned for MT and I’m not sure if I’m wait listed for theater or MT because I checked the box that I would like to be considered for both. Does anyone know anything about this? also I was wondering how many people are put on the waitlist/ percentage of people offered spots off it? I’m so nervous!

I don’t know how many are offered spots from the wait list but I am guessing that if you indicated both then you are being wait listed for both.
