The TRUTH about SAT IIs

Even though some colleges (like Penn) will be only requiring 2 subject tests, will it look bad to only submit 2?

Also, I got a 720 on USH and 760 on IIC. Are these bad scores? Should I retake?

Do schools take the highest two if I submit three and one is bad?

If they require 2, why would it be bad to give 2? What an odd question--unless you're asking if it would lower your chances compared to someone with 5 SATII's. I'm not really sure on this one, because I see people who get in with just the required number of tests while others still get rejects with more than the requirements. Also depends on scores, of course.

And NO, 720 and 760 are NOT BAD scores. If you're sure you can get the USH to a 750+, you may consider a retake, but I wouldn't bother with it. Maybe you can look at one more test that you have any other strengths in.

to my understanding, they only consider the top 2 (or 3 if 3 are required).....they ignore the others

Why would you retake if you can go ahead and take another one?
