I have been away from CC for quite a while, and so am just now learning about the changes. I think I can adjust, and maybe truly appreciate, most of them. But the white background? I can’t stand it, it really bothers my eyes. Is there any chance we will have the option, as before, of changing the skin to something that is not so blindingly bright?
I realize I might be in the minority with this issue – maybe it’s just my old-lady eyes – but surely I’m not the only one?
Edited to add: Or is there a way to deal with this that I am just not seeing?
OK, so looking at the posts, moody aka Sorin was moderating this forum today but didn’t post on this thread, wonder why? Because it’s just more whining from the masses, that’s why!
Fact of the matter is that the background color, post numbers and many other problems were noted by Mods immediately after the change in Feb and were on the Master list of things the Tech team was requested to fix.
Recently I asked four Admin/Mods how many of items on the Master list had been addressed, one declined to post and the other three have been silent. What’s the big deal? It’s a pretty straightforward, fact based question. And if they don’t wan to make the changes, then why not have the guts to just say it rather than pretending they’re having technical difficulties making them happen?
What the heck, why can’t you people satisfied with: ‘be patient’, ‘thanks for the feedback’, and ‘we’ll keep you posted’? romani is right, put on your sunglasses 'cause it ain’t goin away.
Clearly the white background is here to stay, along with the lack of post numbers etc. Sorin came out just a few days ago on another thread to once more pat us on the head and tell us how * very difficult * it is to make these changes. Oh, and he’ll keep us informed. X_X
