General Comments: Time to start thinking about the transfer application

wow, rejected is that a joke how hte hell?

I'm guessing very bad GPA and EC's. Essays were average, recs were good I thought.

Maybe there was a big emphasis on essays and recs this year. Some of these results seem to indicate that.

General Comments:HAHA took the SAT I a remarkable 6 times and increased only at most 30 points per section (do you have any idea how stressful that is?!) b/c parents believed SAT was key and the only thing i was lacking (but in truth i consider my app not strong in any particular area cept gpa). maybe they felt sorry for my persistence to increase my score? i went thru the whole waiting for decision process with pessimism b/c of my lack of 1450+ (on old scale) SAT. proved: don't get your hopes up high. keep a level headed mind and if success comes to you, you will be doubly happy. if not, you can move on quickly and say, "i knew it all along." oh yea, no 5's on any APs (cept AB Calc subscore). no PSAT distinction on any level. did take most rigorous junior year i could think of...all heavy science and math APs (none of those cheap psych. or stat. ones).
i thought human ecology was more easy to get into than CAS or ALS or the others so i applied there (and deffy b/c of bio/pre-med major).
all i can say is that whatever i think, the opposite happens. so i contribute the decision to luck. major friggin' luck. and the fact that my 3.5 years of high school so far was marked with lack of sleep and hard work all the way thru...w/ no outside social life.
i can't believe i might be meeting some of you guys next year and not know it!!!!! still, i am so happy for all of you....CONGRATULATIONS. all of you guys rock. :)
